This was the task that seemed the simplest for me. Volunteer and help out for a video shooting. I didn’t have that much experience on filming and I am lousy with a camera so I told myself to stick with the logistics work, props making and making the coffee runs for this task. My group had a meeting with Ms. Fahimah and she explained the details of what we were needed to do for the video.

 

Apparently, we needed to help her in prop making, specifically a cardboard box so that we could use it as a makeshift mystery box for the video. Apart from that, she just needed us to be at STEM campus early on the day of the shooting. Having received our instructions, we headed to find a cardboard box to completely mishandle. Thankfully, Linda, one of our classmates, had a spare box at home and she gladly gave it to us. My team and stayed after class to colour the box in dark black.

 

We headed to STEM campus for filming day and it was an entirely enjoyable experience. The talents that we had to film were super nice and we managed to chat with them whenever we had a break. We helped set up the filming crews tripods and cameras. I had a chance to work with one of the cameras but I made a small mistake in not turning the mic on. Thankfully, it was only a second delay before the camera crew noticed and quickly turned it on for me.

 

Overall, the filming process was what made this task such a pleasant experience. We even got to keep the toys that were used as props after filming ended!
